Curriculum

Domitila Ballesteros realiza regularmente turnês pelo Brasil e pelo exterior. Sua agenda internacional inclui apresentações de órgão em muitos países da Europa: Alemanha, Bélgica, Dinamarca, Espanha, Finlândia, França, Holanda, Italia, Noruega, Suécia e Polônia. Na América Latina realizou concertos na Argentina, México e Uruguai.

Estudou órgão com Fritz Hofer e Pablo Castellanos e aperfeiçoou seus conhecimentos organísticos com Matteo Imbruno, Ludger Lohman, Mas y Bonet, Peter Planyavsky, Michael Radulescu e Ferdinando Tabliavini. Doutora em Música pela UNIRIO (Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) e mestre em órgão pela UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro), Domitila Ballesteros preside atualmente o Instituto de Cultura e Arte Organística - www.arteorganistica.org.br.

Domitila Ballesteros publicou o livro “Jeanne Demessieux's Six Études and the Piano Technique” e gravou Cd de órgão na Oude Kerk, em Amsterdam, Holanda.

 

Domitila Ballesteros  has been standing-out actively in the national and international organistic scenario. She has a important international agenda and has been performed in many countries in Europe: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Poland. In Latin America, she had performed also in Argentinian, Méxio and Uruguay.

Domitila Ballesteros  studied organ with Fritz Hofer and Pablo Castellanos and had classes with names like Matteo Imbruno, Ludger Lohman, Mas y Bonet, Peter Planyavsky, Michael Radulescu and Ferdinando Tagliavini. Doctor of Musical Arts degree (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro State, UNIRIO) and Organ Master degree (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, UNIRIO) she is presently President of Instituto de Cultura e Arte Organistica (Institute of Culture and Organistic Art) - www.arteorganistica.org.br.
